GSPP begins accepting applications in early September for the following Fall term. There are no rolling admissions. There are no spring admissions.
The application process is completely online.
All supplemental materials including letters of recommendation and test scores are due by the application deadline. We can not guarantee that materials received after the deadline will be reviewed by the MPP Admissions Committee.
After submitting your application, you will not receive a confirmation email. You can view the status of your application by using the log-in you created for your online graduate application.

Requests for Deferment
Deferments are granted and done so only if unanticipated and compelling circumstances develop after admission that create the need to request deferred enrollment. Applicants may submit a written request for deferment, addressed to the MPP Admissions Committee Chair. Petitions will be considered on a case-by-case basis. If a deferral request is granted, the applicant is guaranteed a spot in the following year's class. The deferral is for officially admitted applicants only. Fellowships cannot be automatically deferred. Applicants may only defer one year. Beyond a year, an applicant must re-apply as a new applicant. Exception: Students who choose to join Teach For America are automatically approved for a two-year deferment upon receipt of required documentation. Please contact Lezley Hightower (firstname.lastname@example.org) with questions about the MPP deferral process.
