Resources to Help Students Make an Impact

The Goldman School is committed to providing superior career services to current Goldman School students in order to help them achieve their career goals and make an impact in the world. We provide a comprehensive set of resources to assist current students with all aspects of their career development and job search (including summer internships, client-based projects, and full-time jobs).

Career Advising

GSPP Career Services advisors meet individually with students and provide guidance through all aspects of their job or internship search. Every student is assigned to a Career Advisor when they arrive at the Goldman School, who they meet with regularly throughout their time as a student. 

Career Events

The Career Services team organizes a variety of events designed to give students exposure to prospective employers and career paths, as well as workshops to facilitate students' career development. Specifically, GSPP provides the following types of events to current MPP, MPA, MDP and PhD students:

• Career Panels
• Career Development Workshops
• Networking Events (Washington DC, San Francisco CA, Sacramento CA)

On-Line Resources for Current Students

GSPP students receive the benefit of the following on-line resources that are exclusive to current students:

• On-Line Job Board
• On-Line Interview Preparation Tool
• On-Line Alumni Network / Alumni Directory
• Specialized access to subscription-only job boards (including Devex, Tom Manatos, Travers Jobs and more!)
