Finding housing in Berkeley can be a daunting process. Luckily, there are many resources available to help you find housing near the UC Berkeley campus. Be sure to start your search early with Cal Housing! 

Housing Resources

• UC Berkeley Cal Rentals
  Provides a wide selection of rental listings, counseling and written information on finding housing, and setting up telephone and utility (gas/electricity) services.
   
• Family Student Housing at University Village
  About half of Berkeley’s graduate student parents live in university housing at University Village in nearby Albany. Over 900 family housing units are available for student families (undergraduate and graduate), from one-bedroom/one-bath to three-bedroom/two-bath apartments. As wait-lists are common, register your interest as early as possible, even before arriving on campus. 
   
• International House 
  An exciting home to around 600 students and scholars from around the world, including Americans.
   
• Craigslist.com
  Offers postings about available housing in the East Bay or other parts of the Bay Area. Be sure to review the information about scams and personal safety on Craigslist. 
   
• Sabbatical Homes
  An online resource for home rentals or exchanges.

• Apartment List
  Aggregated apartment listings from hundreds of sources across the country.
   
• Junehomes.com
  A network of fully furnished bedrooms in prime spots available for flexible durations in major American cities.
   
• Sublet.com 
  Apartment rentals, sublets, houses and rooms for rent in major U.S. cities.

  Map-based search for home & apartment rentals with real-time updates.

  Search rooms and apartments for rent by location
