Communications Production Designer

Strengths: Input, Context, Intellection, Discipline, Learner

I’m a creative person who enjoys working in many different mediums including comics, painting, crafts, animation, and film.

I was born in Thailand, but grew up in rural West Virginia. Since then, I’ve lived in many places across the US, including Las Vegas, Chicago, and Taos, New Mexico, before moving to the Bay Area in 2019. As a first-generation college graduate, I received my BA in Liberal Arts at the University of New Mexico with a minor in Communication.

Before joining GSPP, I served as a clinical administrator for University Health Services (UHS) at UC Berkeley. At UHS, I particularly enjoyed working in the COVID vaccine clinics where I organized volunteers and registered patients. I was also a member of the Dismantling Anti-Black Racism Strategy Team (DABR), whose mission was to address the systemic racism at the organizational and cultural levels at UHS. For this work, our DABR team received the 2022 Chancellor’s Outstanding Staff Award. Meanwhile, I spend some of my weekends volunteering at the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco.

When away from work, I can be found relaxing with a good book, drawing comics, trying new recipes, going on adventures, or playing with my two cats.
