Laurent de Janvry

Laurent “Lo” de Janvry received his BA in Economics from UC Berkeley and MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business, and has more than twenty years of leadership experience in development, external relations, and marketing and communications in higher education. Laurent worked at UC Berkeley for almost 20 years serving in three different capacities, including as the Director of Annual Giving Strategic & Direct Marketing Services at University Development & Alumni Relations (UDAR), Chief Director of Marketing & Development for Annual, Reunion & Leadership Support at the Haas School of Business, and Senior Assistant Dean of College Relations & Development at the College of Chemistry, before helping to launch the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability as their Senior Associate Dean of External Relations. Laurent is known for his ability to strategically launch innovative programs, foster high performing teams, and leverage data analytics and performance metrics to drive revenue growth. Laurent is regarded as a strategic thought leader in development, and is an inspiring public speaker and meeting facilitator with significant experience working with senior executives and high net worth individuals. Laurent is currently serving as the Chief Development Officer for the Goldman School of Public Policy at UC Berkeley.
