Henry Ayala Abril

About

Henry Ayala Abril (he/him) is a Master of Public Policy candidate at the UC Berkeley Goldman School of Public Policy, where he is sponsored by the Generación del Bicentenario Scholarship granted by the Peruvian government.  With solid experience in research project management and work with public institutions, he is passionate about translating scientific knowledge into public policy decisions. Back in his home country, he worked with electoral institutions and international cooperation to help consolidate democratic institutions through political instability. He also has authored several books and articles about political parties, political participation, elections, and human rights. 

Currently, he is interested in bridging the gap between technological and AI tools with contemporary democratic challenges.
