About

Home State or Country San Francisco, CA

Class MPP 2024

I was born and raised in San Francisco’s historic garden district, the Portola district. Growing up in the city, my family never relied on our personal vehicle but made our commutes through Muni, San Francisco’s primary public transit system. As I entered university in Santa Cruz, I discovered that transit systems outside the Bay Area were incredibly unreliable. As an incoming Public Policy student, I aim to analyze and develop policies for affordable, accessible, and new modes of transit across the state of California. In my last job position as an IT Support Associate for the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, I provided IT support, managed assets, and ran the Technology Lending Library program. I hope to bring my experience in technology to improve developing modes of transit, including micromobility and ride-share systems. Outside of work, I enjoy exercising at the gym or drinking a cup of coffee at a local cafe.
