Joseph Epstein

Joseph Epstein is the President of Sierra Steel Trading, LLC of San Francisco. Previously, Epstein founded Sierra Pacific Steel, a full line steel service center which he owned from its founding in 1970 to 1998.

In 1997, Epstein was the President of the Commonwealth Club of California, the nation’s largest and oldest public affairs forum, and currently serves on their Board of Governors. He also serves on the Advisory Board of the Oakland Boys and Girls Club, and is active in other charitable and business interests in California.

Epstein has been a Bay Area resident for most of his life. He graduated from the University of California at Berkeley in 1960.
