Members of the GSPP community, including alumni, faculty and staff, are invited to submit nominations for the GSPP Alumnus of the Year Award!
GSPP places great value in the many contributions our alumni make every day to making the world a better place. This is GSPP's opportunity to recognize our alumni for the accomplishments they have made to the field of public policy.
Below are details on the Alumnus of the Year Award, and instructions to submit a nomination. The deadline to submit nominations is Monday, June 6, 2016.
Award(s) will be presented at the GSPP Alumni Dinner, which will take place on Friday, October 21, 2016. More details and invitations for the dinner will be sent very soon. In the meantime, please mark your calendar for this date!

Alumnus of the Year Award
This award recognizes an alum who has achieved distinction through exceptional contributions to the field of public policy (domestically or internationally) throughout her/his career.
In some years, the School will also honor an alum with a special award for accomplishments of significant importance to a specific area. For example, in past years this award has been given for significant contributions to public service, innovation, and leadership.

Submission Instructions (Submission Deadline: June 6, 2016):
- Submit your nomination and supporting documents online or
- Submit your nomination and supporting documents via email to Cecille Cabacungan
We encourage you to include the following items with your nomination(s):
1) Nomination statement: Statement of your endorsement of the nominee, describing her/his commitment and specific contributions to the field of public policy
2) Supporting documents: i.e. Additional letters of endorsement, the alum's resume/CV or biography, news articles, or other materials endorsing your nominee
Multiple nominations are welcome. Anonymous nominations are also welcome, although we do encourage you to list your name and email address in case we have further questions about your submission. Self nominations will also be accepted.
