MPA Application Now Open

The application for the Master of Public Affairs degree is now open!

The Goldman School of Public Policy’s one-year Master of Public Affairs degree will train mid-career professionals for visionary, strategic and effective leadership.

“With this program, GSPP is expanding its impact in the world,” says Meg St. John, Executive Director. “Participants will learn from the renowned faculty of the Goldman School, and build professional networks with public-spirited thinkers and leaders from the United States and globally.”

“The public, non-profit and private sectors face a multitude of pressing problems that affect all of us,” says Professor Jane Mauldon, the program’s Faculty Director. “Giving rising talent the analytic and leadership skills to complement their existing knowledge, experience and technical skills will drive organizational change and innovation in areas of great policy impact.”

The centerpiece of the program is a ten-week summer suite of classes offered at the Goldman School, on the University of California, Berkeley campus. During the fall and spring semesters, candidates may complete the program in residence at the Goldman School or by taking courses online.
