Shelly Gehshan may be the only certified leadership coach out there with a policy background. Shelly brings to her coaching nearly 30 years of experience as a manager and leader in policy, nonprofit management, philanthropy and advocacy. She helps young and mid-career professionals advance their careers, and coaches nonprofit executives on leading and managing with intention. She currently coaches for four health policy fellowship programs. In 2015, she stepped down after seven years directing a children's health campaign for the Pew Charitable Trusts. Before joining Pew, she spent 20 years working for governors, state legislators and state health officials. Shelly started her career in Austin, Texas as a writer and editor for a weekly newspaper.
