Panelists adress the growing problem of student debt in America through their unique perspectives as a U.S. Congressman, a U.C. Berkeley administrator, an academic and a student financial aid recipient.  

U.S. Representative Mark DeSaulnier (D-CA) presented his bill to reduce student loan interest rates by allowing borrowers to refinance at the lower rates offered to banks by the Federal Reserve.
