Location

David Brower Center
2150 Allston Way
Berkeley, CA

Description

This summer, the Berkeley Institute for the Future of Young Americans at the Goldman School of Public Policy is bringing together young leaders from all over the state to talk about creating economic opportunity for the next generation of Californians. As young Californians, as part of the most diverse generation in history, and as part of the state that is this country's strongest economic driver, we have a unique opportunity to set the agenda for what we want California to look like.

Please join us at UC Berkeley for our annual summit to discuss how young activists in California can help lead a movement for more affordable and accessible housing, for better jobs with a livable wage, and for greater opportunities to build wealth over time.

We've got a packed agenda - you'll hear from experts on important policy issues, engage with young advocates who have had success building movements in their own communities, and leave with new skills and a broader network of youth leadersacross the state.

Full Agenda to be Announced Soon

Breakfast and lunch will be served.

*Please note that the Summit takes place during UC Berkeley's move-in week. Traffic and parking may be limited, so we reccommend using public transporation if possible.

Directions from the Downtown Berkeley BART Station: Head south on Shattuck Ave. toward Allston Way; turn left onto Allston Way; the location will be on your right.
