About The PPIA Program:
This summer will mark the 36th year the Goldman School has hosted the PPIA Program. Over the years, this program has been grounded programmatically to empower and better address the needs of historically under-served communities. The Junior Summer Institute at UC Berkeley offers student participants a rigorous seven-week program of coursework designed to improve the participants’ analytical and quantitative skills vital to success at top-level graduate programs in public policy and international affairs as well as law school.

The Goldman School’s PPIA Program is the only program of its kind that offers a law component in collaboration with Berkeley Law School, and 10 of the 30 participants are admitted as Law and Public Policy Fellows. Additionally, the PPIA Program includes a variety of professional development workshops, networking events, and site visits intended to give participants a comprehensive knowledge of the opportunities for professional careers in public service.

This year’s PPIA Fellows hail from the following colleges and universities:

Duke University, UC Berkeley, Middlebury College, Stanford University, University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, Pomona College, UC Irvine, Arizona State University, UC San Diego, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Occidental College, Bowdoin College, UCLA, American University, Cornell University, California State University-Long Beach, Macalester College, University of Washington, Mills College, University of Louisville, and Northern Arizona University.

We hope to see you there!
