An experienced entrepreneur and investment executive, Mr. David Jiang brings deep international perspectives, having held senior executive positions in Tokyo, London, Hong Kong, Shanghai, San Francisco and New York.
Mr. Jiang is the Cofounder of two successful technology companies. MirraViz is transforming the digital display industry with technology that allows multiple people to view the same screen and each person see completely different digital content. MirraViz is backed by a growing portfolio of patents. Ginger Analytics is a FinTech focused on disrupting the institutional asset management ecosystem through crowdsourcing investment big-data and platform for international distribution.
Prior to returning to Bay Area, Mr. Jiang was Chief Executive Officer of PineBridge Investments. PineBridge manages over $75 billion in traditional and alternative investment classes, and operates in over 20 countries. Mr. Jiang directed the transformation and turn-around of PineBridge from AIG Investments post global financial crisis.
Prior to joining PineBridge in 2012, he was CEO of Asia-Pacific for BNY Mellon Asset Management, he was also Global Head for all Passive, ETF, Beta and Transition Management. Mr. Jiang’s investment background includes Senior Portfolio Manager at Franklin Portfolio Associates, where he managed more than US $4bn in equity and hedge fund portfolios.
Mr. Jiang is on the Advisory Board of the Center for American Progress. Mr. Jiang has policy interests in technological innovation, emerging market development, Asia-US cooperation, and financial policy making. Mr. Jiang earned his Master’s degree from Harvard University and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University.
