Tips for Fall 2014 Applicants

It's hard to believe, but we're already preparing for the Fall 2014 application season! If you haven't already taken college coursework in statistics, microeconomics, or calculus, summer is a great time to brush up. Some prospective students have asked whether certified MOOC coursework would be acceptable. GSPP requests that you take these courses through an academic institution, whether it be Berkeley, a local community college, Berkeley Extension, or any online version of the aforementioned.

Also something to start thinking about this summer, all applicants are required to take the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) general test. The LSAT and GMAT cannot be substituted for the GRE. To meet the prospective application deadline, you should take the GRE no later than November 10, 2014. Our institution code is 4833.

Over the summer we will provide more updates about the Fall 2014 application, including but not limited to:

  • When the application will open here
  • Application Requirements
  • When the application is due
