Victoria Brown joined the White House Domestic Policy Council in April 2015 as a Senior Policy Advisor in the Office of Urban Affairs, Justice, and Opportunity. Victoria works on economic mobility including urban policy, neighborhood revitalization, economic development, housing, and housing finance. Most recently, Victoria served as a Senior Policy Advisor for Multifamily Housing Programs at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. While at HUD, her focus was on preserving affordable housing and expanding opportunity for HUD-assisted residents. Prior to her federal service, Victoria worked on a variety of transformational, service-based initiatives including with the Oakland Unified School District, New Visions for Public Schools, Single Stop USA, Centro Legal de la Raza, and Watts Labor Community Action Committee. Victoria has a Master in Public Policy from University of California, Berkeley and a B.A. in Politics from Princeton University.
