I am graduate student working towards my MS in Nuclear Engineering and my Masters of Public Policy. I received my BS in both Nuclear Science and Engineering and Political Science from MIT in 2012. Between schools, I was working as a contractor in the Pentagon for the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Nuclear Matters, where I worked on nuclear stockpile management, coordination of weapon modernization programs, and nuclear survivability of DoD systems. Under my current fellowship at UC Berkeley's Nuclear Science and Security Consortium, I am a part of the data science team that researches global nonproliferation issues using network science and machine learning. Additionally, I have been working on a project on Chinese nuclear and military strategy for the Center for Global Security Research at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.
