Jonathan Palisoc was born in 1991 in Galt, California. His mother and father, both first generation immigrants from the Netherlands and Philippines, instilled the values of altruism, empathy, and the importance of health from a young age.
Since completing his senior project on the ACA and graduating from California Polytechnic State University in 2009 with a degree in Economics, Jonathan has been committed to improving the lives of high need Americans through social policy. His passion in health has lead him to work with California Medicaid Director, Kaiser Permanente's government relations team, and UC Berkeley's Labor Center on analyzing health reform.
Jonathan is currently studying for his Master's in Public Policy and will graduate in 2018. He plans to attend law school shortly after. He enjoys rock climbing, golfing, backpacking, and knowing way too much about Game of Thrones.
