Biography

Hannah Melnicoe is a second year MPP student at the UC Berkeley Goldman School of Public Policy, where she is focusing on advancing equity in systems that serve large numbers of young people, including school districts, public higher education, the foster care system, and the juvenile justice system. She has four years of experience in social impact consulting at Learning for Action (LFA) in San Francisco, where she worked on evaluation, strategy, and technical assistance projects. Prior to attending UC Berkeley, she was an Education Pioneers Analyst Fellow in Marin County, where she worked on strategic data projects.  She received a B.A. in Public Policy Studies from the University of Chicago. She is a proud graduate of Denver Public Schools and has spent most of her adult life in Oakland, California.
