Post Jobs On-Line- GSPP goldJOBS

In October 2005, GSPP implemented a new on-line job database for recruiters looking to hire students trained in public policy analysis - GSPP goldJOBS.

Features of the new system include:

  • post jobs on-line in real time (free of charge)
  • a reminder when your job posting is going to expire and the ability to delete or repost the announcement
  • the ability to list multiple recruiter contacts under one organization listing
  • the ability to accept applications on-line (if you select this option for students, all resumes and/or cover letters can be batched and sent to you as a single .pdf file)

You can also submit jobs for posting to the job database:

Recruiting Goldman School Students

Employers have several tools available to them for recruiting Goldman School students

Employer Information Sessions

Employers are invited to the Goldman School of Public Policy to conduct information sessions for students about their organizations. This is an excellent opportunity for you to market your organization to our students. If you are interested in holding a session at GSPP, contact Cecille Cabacungan.

Recruitment Timeline

Public Policy Career Fair

The Goldman School of Public Policy hosts an annual career where employers all over the world are invited to showcase their organizations to Goldman School students.

The next Career Fair will be held on February 14, 2008. Visit the Career Fair website for more information, or contact Cecille Cabacungan, Director of Career & Alumni Services, if you are interested in representing your organization.

Conduct Interviews at the Goldman School

Students can be asked to submit resumes for your review and we can schedule interviews at the School. If you are at a distance or find it more convenient, you may wish to interview candidates by phone.

Employers are encouraged to post job and internship opportunities on-line.  All students are notified of new job opportunities posted to the database daily.

Student and alumni resumes are now accessible through the Goldman School's new job posting system, goldJOBS. To access the new system, you must first register as an employer. Upon registration you will be able to access up-to-date resumes of Goldman Students.

Visit gsppgoldjobs.net to access student resumes and post job announcements.

Student Policy Analysis Projects

Every year, employers hire GSPP students during the regular school year to work on policy analysis projects. Students bring together the skills learned in core courses to solve real-life problems for off-campus clients.

First-year students work in groups on these projects for their Introductory to Policy Analysis (IPA) course. Second-year students work individually on these projects, known as the Advanced Policy Analysis (APA). The APA serves as the Master's Thesis, a requirement for graduation.
