The 2009 GSPP Alumni Association Board of Directors Elections are now closed.

Dear GSPP Alum:
Greetings on behalf of GSPP's Alumni Association (GSPPAA) Board of Directors!

We are writing to request that you vote in this year's Alumni Association Board election. Your input will strengthen our Association in selecting its future leadership and help the Board represent the diversity of our alumni community.

Please review the candidate statements and then select up to five of the candidates running for 3-year terms by casting your vote on-line: 2009 GSPP Alumni Association Board of Directors Election

Those who are elected will join the GSPPAA Board of Directors this Fall.  The deadline to cast your vote is July 20, 2009.

Your GSPP Alumni Association is now 10 years old.  In that time we have:

  • Gathered the GSPP community for an Alumni Recognition Dinner that grows in prestige each year
  • Recruited alumni to serve as local area coordinators for regional alumni events
  • Marked class milestones with 30th year reunions
  • Linked students and alumni through a mentoring program
  • Provided forums to share alumni perspectives with a policy-analysis practitioners' seminar
  • Facilitated policy discussions through alumni seminars in Washington DC
  • For the Dean's search, solicited and provided critical feedback from alumni

Board members lead in these efforts to engage and empower the alumni, but your help is needed and welcome.  Whether through contributions of expertise, career and APA opportunities, or even the occasional charitable gift, there is always ample opportunity to help grow the GSPP community.
