Amy Slater

Biographical Statement:
Amy Slater teaches a class on negotiations at the Goldman School, as well as at UC Hastings College of Law, where she is currently an Adjunct Professor. Her academic and professional interests include negotiation, consensus and community empowerment in public health interventions.
Between 1997 and 2000, Slater served as General Counsel for Ask Jeeves. Prior to that, she worked at Landels, Ripley & Diamond, Khourie, Crew & Jaeger, and Townsend & Townsend & Crew in litigation, intellectual property and transactional law. She received a bachelors degree in political science from UC Sand Diego and a law degree from UC Hastings College of Law.
